Terms & Conditions

​General Terms & Conditions of Trade

  • All prices in the price list and quoted, exclude VAT.

  • Transport costs are strictly for the buyers account.

  • ABC Catering Equipment Suppliers will not be held responsible for the damages or losses incurred by 3rd parties, i.e. Courier Companies, Transport Companies or any other nominated transporter by the buyer.

  • ABC Catering Equipment Suppliers will NOT be held responsible for loss or damages to goods during transit.

  • Cash Accounts are either payable in advance or upon receipt of goods. Payments in cash or via EFT.

  • Payments done at checkout are done via a secure DPO Payment gate

  • Prices displayed are subject to change

  • Please note, if payment is done via Payfast, an additional two business days are added onto the lead time due to payment processing.

  • We make every effort to display accurate stock availability on the website but stock levels are subject to change without notification. If for any reason the item you have ordered should be out of stock, we will endeavour to inform you within 48 hours, and let you know when the item will be back in stock.

  • Please note that all orders are subject to availability and stock is not reserved until your order has been confirmed. Items placed in your basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.

  • If you are in doubt about stock availability, please contact us via 0530040600  and we will confirm whether the item is available or not.


     

  • Warranty

  • Our warranty covers faulty component parts and/or factory fault ONLY.
    THERE IS NO WARRANTY ON GLASS. This warranty does not cover wearing parts, such as belts, bushes, blades etc

  • If a product is returned to us for repair, all transportation costs is for the buyers account.

  • Labour and Travel is for the buyers account.

  • All faulty components under warranty must be returned to us for replacement.

  • All warranty parts will be invoiced on your account and as soon as we receive the faulty part back, a credit will be passed on your account.

  • Electrical component s carries a 12 month warranty.

  • Elements carry a 3 month warranty.

  • The warranty expressly excludes misuse, incorrect installation or neglect.

  • There is no warranty on any fault, caused by any other party, other than our recognised service agents.

  • PLEASE call us for a list of recognised service agents in your area.

  • There is NO warranty on goods not yet paid for.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you are covered for any potential warranty expenses

  • All orders are processed within [4 business days]. 

  •  

  • Deliveries will occur during business operational hours, Monday - Friday, from 8:00 - 16:00.
    Lead times are subject to change*
    Due to COVID-19 delays may be expected from our suppliers* and or our shipping partners*.
    If delays are incurred, communication will be done via email to provide transparency on the matter.
     

  • Shipping rates and delivery estimates

  • ABC Catering  Equipment Suppliers offers a value added service which makes use of a delivery partner to assist in keeping delivery rates as low as possible, however the rates presented at checkout are limited to items weighing less than 100 kilograms (Kg’s). Items that have a box dimension longer than one meter (1000mm) and height greater than one meter (1000mm) are subject to different rates, and will be emailed/communicated to the customer. A deposit amount will be payable at checkout and can be used to offset the final quotation given to the customer.
    If the customer does not wish to make use of the quotation provided, the deposit amount paid at checkout will be refunded within 3 Business days.
