REFUND POLICY

At ABC Catering Equipment, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our Refund & Returns Policy below.

Returns

We accept returns for eligible products that are:

  • Unused and in their original condition.

  • Returned with the original packaging and all accessories.

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase.

Returns should be requested within a reasonable period after receiving your order, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be eligible for return unless they are defective or supplied incorrectly:

  • Special-order or custom-made products.

  • Products that have been installed, used, or damaged after delivery.

  • Products returned without their original packaging or essential components.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, contact us as soon as possible with your order details and, where possible, photographs of the issue. We will assess the matter and work with you to provide an appropriate solution.

Refunds

Where a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.

  • Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.

  • Shipping or delivery charges may not be refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Exchanges

Where stock is available, we may offer an exchange instead of a refund for eligible items.

Return Shipping

If a return is due to a defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied product, we will advise you on the return process and any applicable shipping arrangements.

For returns that are not the result of our error, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs, where permitted by applicable law.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, or any other applicable South African law.
